It is rare to find excellent service nowadays, so walking into the Piano Gallery and experiencing the attention and quality advice they offer was a delight. Since I have toured the world as a pianist and chamber musician, I have experienced hundreds of instruments and recognize quality work on instruments.

We walked into Piano Gallery just looking and not really ready to buy. Bob was great and took the time to show us the 3 different types of pianos and the difference in the sounds. We were lucky to come across a beautiful piano. The price was too good that we ended our search that same evening. Bob is very knowledgeable and does everything he can to find a good fit for what you are looking for. We were very pleased with our experience.

He found us an amazing grand piano through their long term rental program and bent over backwards to make it work for us. He is also amazingly talented. I absolutely love this place. Dan and Bob made the whole purchasing process seamless. I never felt pressured to purchase anything. They added value and knowledge and took on the role as trusted consultants. I simply can’t say the same for other competitors in the Dallas Metroplex who have catered pitches and are clearly less knowledgeable in this space.

Overall you just don’t get this quality of service anywhere anymore!! They are a unique and valuable find!

I highly recommend visiting the Piano Gallery if you are considering purchasing a piano. I am extremely happy with my purchase of a new Celviano Grand Hybrid and A. Geyer Grand.

I just purchased the Casio Celviano Grand Hybrid. Being a professional pianist from Ukraine, I had never played a digital piano before. I have always had a prejudice about them. But I’m so happy that I had the chance to talk to the owner of the Gallery, Bob. Because of his wonderful personality and professional assessment of this model, he convinced me to try this piano and play for a while.

I was impressed with the touch, feel, and response of the Casio while I was playing. Through my personal experience playing this instrument, compounded with the additional research I performed, I found this Casio provided exceptional quality at an unbeatable price. I’m very happy with my Casio GP-500 Hybrid Grand. Thanks, Bob! I’m glad that the GP-500 supports the high-resolution MIDI velocity specification, as this means not only can I play its own internal samples with greater expressiveness, I can also use the GP-500’s keyboard to play other instruments with greater expressiveness through MIDI that also support the high-resolution velocity specification, such as the Roland RD-800 and Yamaha’s Disklavier.

Unbelievable space, unbelievable people, unbelievable service, unbelievable products, unbelievable prices. I cannot believe that a store like this exists in this day and age.

Let me start by saying that we were not in the store to buy the most expensive piano. Bob Rosenthal is a good man and from our first conversation on the phone, he did not act like a sales person, but rather an advisor or a consultant. I do consulting myself and I couldn’t be happier with the expertise with which he made recommendations and advised me to do research on some of the products before coming to the store.

When we came to the store, we were amazed to see the scale of pianos (no pun intended) he has on display and the kind of art-promoting space he has created in 30+ years there. He gave us a beautiful tour of his space and made us feel less overwhelmed. ?

He is a true artist and is truly passionate about music and especially pianos (and not just selling them). It goes without saying that having an artist guide you through the process makes you feel special (we are middle class folks who shop at Walmart/Kroger, we see such service only in the movies).

My wife was new to playing and after giving an elaborate and expressive demo of the product we were interested in, he was sensitive to my wife’s hesitation to play and offered her headphones so she could play freely.

Bob knows piano. Bob lives piano.

After spending almost two hours with us, we bought us a model (the exquisite Celviano GP-500) that we thought would always be way outside of our range. Bob gave us a price fully understanding our budget constraints and we left he store grinning uncontrollably and excited! It was, as I said above, unbelievable.

There are not that many stores left that us middle class folks can visit today that will give you that feeling. I feel lucky to have walked into Piano Gallery yesterday. Thank you Bob and the Piano Gallery!

My husband and I just purchased a Kawai 5’4″ (KG-1E) baby grand piano from Piano Gallery this past weekend. I have to say our experience there was nothing short of wonderful! Both Bob(owner) and Dan(sales manager), were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Once we told them that were were looking for a pre-owned piano, Bob went through all the pianos and explained all the nuances to me. Buying something that costs 6 figures is definitely not an easy decision! With so many brands and brands that bought out other brands, it was a very challenging endeavor. However, Bob and Dan patiently explained so much to me and made the process easy. They were never pushy, just helpful. They were with us for over 3 hours from beginning to finish and we never felt rushed. We never felt like we had to buy anything.

Did I mention that we are actually from Austin? I was so impressed by quality as well as customer service of Piano Gallery, we decided to purchase a beautiful Kawai and had it shipped to Austin. We purchase the piano on Sunday and it arrived promptly Tuesday morning. It was as beautiful as I remember it. When I noticed the piano bench that had arrived was not the one that I had specified in the show room, I promptly called Dan. He cheerfully told me that he will ship the right one to me right away.

Honestly, buying a piano from a reputable dealer is so important. The working relationship doesn’t just end after the piano is delivered. After the 3 year factory warranty is up, Piano Gallery throws in another 7 years. You want a dealer that will back you up years to come. That is so much more important to me just to know that I purchased something of quality from a reputable establishment than just to get the cheapest piano possible. In my case, I got an excellent piano for a great price from a place I trust. I can’t rave enough about this place! If you are looking to buy a piano, look no further!

Just walking into the store is relaxing, the showroom is beautiful and the pianos are gorgeous. I had a great salesperson who was not pushy and spent a lot of time with me, who really took the time to learn about how I wanted to play, and fit me with the right piano!
